Marti Digital Media

Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data. Effective 8 November 2026.

In short: we collect only what you send us, use it to reply and help your business, never sell it, use no tracking cookies, and delete it when you ask. Questions? Email hello@martidigitalmedia.com.

1. Who we are

Marti Digital Media (“we”, “us”) is an e-commerce and quick-commerce growth agency based in Bengaluru, India. We run martidigitalmedia.com. For the personal data you share with us through this website, we are the “Data Fiduciary” under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to keep the website running safely:

  • Contact form: your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number (optional), brand or company name, the plan you are interested in and your message.
  • Free audit: your answers to the audit questions, your score and suggested fixes, and the name, email, phone number (optional) and brand or store link you enter to receive the report.
  • Chat assistant: the messages you type into the chat window.
  • Email, phone and WhatsApp: whatever you send us when you contact us directly.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic request details (browser type, pages requested, time), which our hosting provider records in short-lived server logs. We also use your IP address briefly to limit spam on the chat assistant.

No tracking cookies. This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about our services.
  • To prepare and send the audit report and growth plan you asked for.
  • To answer your questions in the chat assistant.
  • To prepare a proposal and, if you become a client, to deliver our services.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam and misuse.

We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, start a chat or contact us, and for the specific purpose you contacted us for. We will only send you follow-up messages about your enquiry; we will not add you to newsletters or promotions unless you ask us to. Reply “STOP” at any time and we will stop contacting you.

We never sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers (“Data Processors”) who handle data only on our instructions:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website and keeps short-lived server logs.
  • Google (Gmail and Google Sheets), where we receive and store enquiries.
  • Anthropic, whose AI model powers the chat assistant and processes the messages you type there. Please do not share passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in the chat.
  • Meta (WhatsApp), if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
  • Namecheap, which forwards email sent to our domain address.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. We only use well-established providers with strong security, and we will follow any restrictions the Government of India places on transfers to particular countries. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to comply with a lawful request from a government authority.

5. If you become a client

When you hire us, we may get access to your marketplace seller accounts, ad accounts and business data. That data is covered by our service agreement with you, which sets out what we access, why and for how long. We use it only to provide the services you hire us for.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and audit requests: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Chat messages: we do not save chat conversations. Messages are sent to our AI provider only to generate a reply.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period under its own retention settings.
  • Client records: for as long as our agreement runs, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting laws require.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it);
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to; and
  • raise a complaint with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email hello@martidigitalmedia.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We aim to reply within 7 working days and to resolve requests within 30 days.

8. How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS encryption. Enquiries are stored in password-protected business accounts that only our team can access. We share data with service providers only as described above. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your data ever happens, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
